Backwoods Of Bolivar Restaurant: A Quaint Diner Experience in Bolivar, TN

Breakfast was great. Tenderloin was dry.. Steak night ribeyes...eh. They were extremely fatty. 16 oz ribeye for $32.99 and 6-8 oz was fat. Flavor was good. Fat was overwhelming. My husband didn't get one of his sides at all and his food came out last, extremely slow/after all ours. We ordered the same thing. Restaurant was out of something a friend wanted from the menu. Service is slow all the way around.

We stopped by on our way back from the pumpkin patch and were impressed by the quality service and flavorful food. The freak shake orders were a resounding success!

Excellent Food, loved doing Karaoke with the family. Great service as well. We had a great time! We will be back on karaoke nights. Dayna was awesome, she was doing the karaoke there and did a great job. Great atmosphere hanging out on the patio eating,dancing and singing. Definitely recommend!

First place I've found that trys to accommodate those with Alpha-Gal Syndrome. The cook personally discussed options available and my needs. I'll be returning.

Moist, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. You can taste the difference when food is made from scratch. The sides—mashed potatoes and beans—were just as impressive. Nothing felt mass-produced or microwaved. This is comfort food done the right way. The atmosphere at Backwoods is laid-back and welcoming, with that small-town charm that puts you at ease. And the service? Top notch. Our waitress, Renée, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. She made us feel like regulars even though we weren’t. And with prices that are more than fair, you get a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. If you’re craving real, honest food that tastes like it was cooked with love, Backwoods of Bolivar is where you want to be. I’ll definitely be back.

My lady and I had a great time at this little resteraunt. The food was delicious, the portions were great, the price was reasonable, but you couldn't beat the people. We had the pleasure of meeting Dana on her second day working there. She was a wonderful host and we excited to help with whatever we like. She's also a heck of a saleswoman because she got two absolutely full adults to try the valentine's milkshake, which also was amazing. We also got to meet Mr. Jeremy. He made the food and he made it well. The pork I had was some of the finest I've had from any resteraunt. Their fried onion was immensely satisfying, and even their Philly cheese was phenomenal.
